Fly fishing or spin fishing for
brown trout
on Baspa River in Sangla valley Northern India. Specially
designed angling trip on various sections of the Baspa River
located approx 600 km nort-east from Delhi.
The wilderness and flora and fauna makes Sangla valley an ideal
destination. It is a region surrounded by high Himalayan
mountains with presense of great wildlife.

Fly Fishing, Spin Fishing. River Baspa offers a great opportunity for
Brown Trout fly fishing expeditions. Smaller trout are rarely
caught and the excitement of landing something big is always
there.
Single handed fly rods, length 8-9', class 5-7 will suit best
for this fishing. Dry flies and nymphs will do the trick. This trip
provides ideal opportunity for fly fishing one can ask for. It is a
experience which involves great fishing in
places where very few anglers have casted
for brown trout with local fishing guides.
The largest brown trout caught in this
part of river is over 10 lbs.
Accomodation
and meals. Accommodation standard will be combination of
hotel (in Delhi), and camp in Sangla.
Well trained and
experienced staff will take care of your appetite, the food
is from Continental, Indian
and combinations of local cuisines.
Travel Arrangements. Fishing trips to Baspa will be arranged throughout the fishing season and the
packages can be booked according to the client’s preferred dates.
Clients take a flight to Delhi. The guide will
pick up the anglers from airport.
Trip Program. Day 1:
Early morning start from Delhi to Sangla (578 Kms/11 hrs),
lunch by the road. Evening arrive at Sangla and check in lodge,
dinner. Overnight at Lodge. Days 2-6: After Breakfast at lodge
full day fishing at
Baspa river, packed lunch. Evening return to
lodge, bonfire and dinner. Overnight at lodge. Day 7: After breakfast, hit the road for drive back
to Delhi. Lunch by the road. Arrive Delhi by evening.
