Madeira island is situated about 310 miles from Lisbon in the Atlantic Ocean, with its mild climate and out standing natural beauty it make the perfect place to relax away for the faster paces of life elsewhere. Infamous for its friendly locals and great food and drink, you can be assure that you will receive a warm welcome on the island. The local food and drink is fantastic and reasonably priced too. Portuguese food is delicious and has a selection that caters for most of taste buds. There many activities to do on the island; tours of the island are offered by several companies, you can go and visit Porto Santo with its miles of white sandy beaches, visit spectacular gardens, take a ride by car, or relax by the ocean in one of the many natural volcanic swimming pools. 

Offshore Trolling. Most people associate big game fishing as being far offshore, but in the case of Madeira the opposite applies, because  of its very deep waters, hook ups are quite common just outside the harbour and all along the coast line quite close inshore. Our target species are mainly blue marlin, white marlin, spearfish, albacore, wahoo and dorado. The giant blue marlin is the one every angler dreams of. Madeira has become world known for the size and quality of its blue marlin. From novice to expert you can experience the fishing trip of a lifetime. We welcome all levels of experience from beginners to experts. Our crew will guide the novice through all the procedures involved. The boats can be chartered for a half or full day trips, private or shared charters.

Fishing season. We can fish offshore year round. Best fishing months for different species are: Blue marlin: June-September, White marlin: May-September, Spearfish: May-September, Albacore: October-January, Wahoo: September-January and Dorado: May-September.

Boats and Gear. At all times you can be assured of your safety and comfort whilst aboard our boats. They are fully equipped with all the fishing, electronics and safety equipments and are also insured and licensed. We use only the finest and highest quality equipments and lures. The Margarita is a "Henriques 35' Maine Coaster", and is powered by twin 200 hp Volvo Penta engines. It should be noted that for a 35' game fishing boat she has an absolutely huge cockpit that ads comfort to the trips. The Lara Jade is a "Cyfish 33'" built by Cygnus Marine in England, and is powered by a 380 hp Iveco engine. She has a larger deck area which makes her the ideal boat for combined trip package.

Travel Arrangements. Fishing trips to Madeira will be arranged throughout the year and the packages can be booked according to the client’s preferred dates subject to availability. Anglers take a flight to Funchal, Madeira and continue by taxi to the hotel.
