| Fishmaster arranges hosted fishing trip to
Sweden, Mörrum River 9-14.4.2012. Fly fishing or spin fishing for
seatrout and salmon. River Mörrum is a world famous seatrout river. The
fishing guide will be Jouni Rauha from Fishmaster.
Mörrum. Mörrum is one of the best salmon rivers in Sweden
and flows into the Baltic sea in Southeastern coast through
Mörrum town. Mörrum is
famous for big size salmon, the biggest are around 20
kilos and big seatrout, biggest are over 10 kilos.
Fly fishing,
Spin fishing. The Mörrum Kronolax beat covers approximately 7 kilometres of
the lower reaches of the Mörrum River with 32 pools, from
Rosendala in the north, to Elleholm in the south. The pools are
reserved for either spin- or fly-fishing. Both methods are
permitted in certain pools. The beat suits excellently for fly
fishing and spin fishing and there is a chance for very big
seatrout and salmon.
Fishing Tackle.
For fly fishing for
seatrout on Mörrum
we recommend 12-15 ' foot double handed rods for lines #8-11 and
suitable fly reels with good quality brakes. Sink tip, Intermediate or
different sinking shooting heads are most used fly lines
depending of water level and temperature. Spin
fishing rods should be long handled and medium-heavy action with
plenty of power for big fish and should be recommended for 1-2 oz lures.
Flies, Spoons. Good fly patterns for
Mörrum river are: Thunder & Lightning, Garry, Mickey Finn and Phatagorva.
Good spoons are Toby, Salamander in colours:
gold, orange.
Accomodation for fishermen is in
fishing cabin by the river. The cabin is well-equipped; There is a living
room, a well equipped kitchen, several bedrooms for 2 persons, freezer,
toilet, shower. Guests can cook their meals in the kitchen.
Travel Arrangements. Anglers will take flight and/or car transport to
Mörrum. Anglers will meet host Jouni Rauha from Fishmaster and other
fishermen at Mörrum.
