Fly Fishing, Spin Fishing. Saaremaa is famous for long shallow beaches that suit excellent for fishing from the land or by wading. The most popular fishing methods are spin fishing or fly fishing. Species you can catch there are for example seatrout, pike and perch. Please bring your wading boots and fishing tackle with. The fishing for seatrout on Saaremaa is often magnificent. The seatrout has high average weight, the flats are generally easy to wade and the season is long. You will wade reefs and sometimes even sand to rendezvous with the trout, which often hunts very close to the shore. Some anglers prefer to be very mobile, some prefer to stay in the same spot for longer periods. In many areas it is possible to wade very close to the shelf separating the shallow flat from the deeper water, where large quantities of baitfish, shrimp and other prey is gathered due to the breaking of the waves.

Season. The seatrout season is more or less October to May. We arrange fishing during the whole season but remember that booking in January or February means it might be cold even though the winter is not as hard as in many other parts of Estonia. But there is a certain charm to fishing these months; the fishing is as good as any other month. On top of that more fish is silver coloured and in great condition.

Accomodation. Accomodation in old, charming manor, close the fishing places, double or triple bedrooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in price.

Travel arrangements.
