Fishmaster
arranges fishing trips at Fishmaster
fishing lodge in Uusikaupunki, close Turku. The lodge is located
only 65 km, less than one hour car drive from Turku.
Enjoy the experience of fishing surrounded by a unique, beautiful archipelago landscape.
Trips are unguided or guided - it's up to you. Fly Fishing,
Spin Fishing, Trolling.
We will fish close to our fishing lodge by using different
methods; trolling, casting or fly fishing. Bait, spoon or fly,
it's up to customers choice. You can fish for example pike,
perch, seatrout or herring. Best fishing months are
April, May, September, October and November.
Spin Fishing Tackle.
Rods should be long
handled and medium-heavy action with plenty of power for hook
setting/pressuring big fish and recommended for 1-2 ounce lures.
Reels should have a high-speed retrieve ratio. Bring at least
two rods and reels, just in case of break.
Lures. Bomber Long A Minnow 6' colour
Silver Flash, Blue/silver and red/white.
Fly Rods, Flies. Rods should be
fast action models, because they load sinking lines more
efficiently and generally have more 'backbone' than softer
models. Recommended fly rod is a fast action, 9-foot, 8-10 weight rod with
reel.
Popular streamers include 6-inch bi-colored,
heavily-dressed bucktails in red/white, olive/white. Big Deceivers, Bunnies,
Zonkers, Clouser Minnows, and other flashy bait-fish imitations
all take fish.
Accomodation. During the
longer trips the accomodation is in our Fishmaster fishing lodge by
the sea. The lodge is well equipped:
kitchen utensils, cutlery, fridge, electric
cooker with oven, coffee maker, microwave oven, warm & cold water,
shower, sauna, electric heating, radio, big grill,
outdoor toilet and nice view over the sea. You can drive to
the lodge by car, it is only 65 km from Turku.
There are 6 beds in the cabin.
Travel arrangements. Fishing trips to Uusikaupunki will be arranged throughout the fishing season and the
packages can be booked according to the client’s preferred dates
subject to availability. Transports to fishing place
and back will be done by guide's car or with customers car, it is
about one hour drive from Turku. The guide can pick you up from the
place you want for example hotel in Turku and will also give you a ride back.
